How is "PRACTACTS" pronunced? [prak-tiks]

Word Origin and History for practic [prak-tik] n.

late 14c., "a way of doing something, method; practice, custom, usage;" also "an applied science;" from Old French practique "practice, usage" (13c.) and directly from Medieval Latin practica "practice, practical knowledge," ultimately from Greek praktike "practical" (as opposed to "theoretical;" see practical ). From early 15c. as "practical aspect or application of something; practice as opposed to theory;" also, "knowledge of the practical aspect of something, practical experience."

This definition was an anchor point in deciding on the company name. Understanding therory is great, but knowing what works is better and that ties perfectly into our motto "...the cohesion of Practical & Tactical."

As a small Christian based business in the firearm industry we desire to keep our focus on the Cross and the sacrifice made by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who died for My/our sins (John 3:16-21).  The Cross used as the front sight in the logo is to remind us that if our target is reaching heaven then we must remain focused on Jesus, because he is the only way (John 14:5-6).

If you would like to discuss Jesus or the Bible we would enjoy that, but don't come expecting any finger pointing to be done on these topics, we're just sinners ourselves saved by his amazing grace.

*** All finger pointing is reserved for trigger awareness and the point shooting technique. ***
